What is the towing capacity of the Touareg?
The Touareg is capable of towing 3500kgs or 3.5 tonnes.
Why is the towing eye a left hand thread?
To stop fitment of a non approved attachment to the towing point.
What is the benefit of the hill start assistant?
It allows you to pull away on a hill with no roll back.
Where is the hill descent control button?
There is no specific hill descent control button. The system is fully automatic as long as the required parameters are met.
Can you select low and high range on the move?
Yes, you can engage low gears on the move only with an autobox if you are travelling below 9 mph. However with a manual gearbox you have to be stationary. You can engage high gears at speeds up to 24 mph on both manual and auto gearboxes.
