Biography

In a career spanning over 20 years, Mary has become a regular member of the British Eventing Team.

Inspired to begin eventing by a visit to the Badminton Horse Trials Mary made her debut in 1985 finishing seventh and in 1992 she added her name to the famous trophy winning with King William and achieved a second Badminton victory in 2000 with Star Appeal.

Suffering a terrible fall in 2001, breaking her neck. Mary was back less than a year later she was back at the top of the sport recording top ten placings at major international events including a 3rd placing at Burghley Four Star on her great campaigner King Solomon III.

Awards

Winning four team gold medals at Word Equestrian Games and European Championships
British Champion four times, more than anyone to date.
Represented Britain in four Olympic Games: 1992, 1996, 2000, and 2004.
